Gardening in Benalmádena: sun and slopes
South-facing slopes in Benalmádena get intense sun for most of the year. Succulents, cacti, agaves and aloes thrive here on very little water, but they still need weeding, tidying and the removal of old growth. Steeper plots need safe access and good drainage after heavy autumn rain.
